Data Science - The infographic, done well, is a technique for telling a story that requires a data lens in order to be properly understood. This Washington Post article shows exactly how it's done. Scroll down to the blue and red bar graphs -- they strikingly show the white / non-white- and evangelical / non-evangelical makeup of the US states in their primary voting order. Why is this central to the story being told? Because it directly frames the challenge for Bernie Sanders (D) and John Kasich (R) in the upcoming contests - for Sanders the big question is his appeal amongst non-whites, for Kasich it is amongst non-evangelicals.
