Livia All Alone<\/p>\n
By Jasmine Sheherazade Ebrahim, from the Livia Series<\/u><\/em><\/p>\n \u201cOw!\u201d Livia moaned. \u201cYou stood on my foot!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBudge up!\u201d Roxanne hollered. \u201cThat\u2019s my guitar you\u2019re poking at!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHey, hey, hey! Roxy, you\u2019re not bringing your guitar, are you?\u201d Their mother, Mrs Bell, said wearily. Roxanne glared at her mother.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s mine!\u201d Brittany shrieked. \u201cStop it you pig!\u201d Roxanne had grabbed Brittany\u2019s suitcase and was throwing out the contents.<\/p>\n \u201cWell actually<\/em>, that suitcase was for all of us? Remember? And you <\/em>were just cluttering it with your stupid junk!\u201d Roxanne shouted. Brittany leapt forward but Roxanne grabbed her and shoved her onto the carpet.<\/p>\n \u201cENOUGH!\u201d Mrs Bell screamed. Everyone looked up. \u201cRoxanne and Brittany, separate. That suitcase is<\/em> for all of you, but if you run out of room, you can always use the spare one, up in the loft.\u201d Roxanne and Brittany both rushed up towards the loft. Mrs Bell sighed. She glanced around the house. \u201cOh God! This house is a mess! Your cousins will be here in an hour! Alexa! Catherine!\u201d Mrs Bell shouted. Alexa emerged from her bedroom in jeans and socks.<\/p>\n \u201cHuh?\u201d Alexa looked up, taking her headphones off. Mrs Bell sucked her teeth. Catherine then emerged, fresh like a daisy: her hair blonde and fluffy, her eyes a bright blue and her clothes comfortable and in fashion. Livia stared at her sister.<\/p>\n \u201cHey.\u201d Catherine said before walking towards the front door. Alexa replaced her headphones before stomping back upstairs.<\/p>\n \u201cAlexa? Alexa!\u201d Mrs Bell shouted, following her daughter upstairs. Catherine slammed the door shut behind her.<\/p>\n \u201cMum! Mum! Catherine just left!\u201d Livia called. Mrs Bell rushed to the front door. Lavender then proceeded to pack her suitcase, Rosalind went to apply more make-up, Brittany and Roxanne wrestled over the suitcases and Livia sat down to watch T.V.<\/p>\n Then the phone rang. Mrs Bell cautiously walked over to it. She picked it up. \u201cHello?\u201d Mrs Bell smiled. \u201cLuka! Yes, yes. We\u2019ll see you then. Great. And Zain? Yes! Of course. Drive safely. Bye.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWho was it, mum?\u201d Brittany asked.<\/p>\n \u201cLuka.
